Welcome to Chef JRH

My name is Jemima Harrison and this is my journey within the culinary arts. Born and living in Yorkshire, I first started experimenting in the kitchen at age 17, where I found my passion and subsequent vocation in becoming a chef.

Throughout the course of my career, I have explored a variety of styles and cuisines involving, but not limited to, French, Italian, fine dining British and seafood.

I have worked across the region undertaking a variety of roles: I started working in the larder section for the D&D company which then progressed to working within the pastry section where I found my passion for patisserie. Following on from this I became a head pastry chef for a luxury golfing hotel in South Yorkshire. There I designed the dishes for the a la carte menu as well as afternoon tea and menus for the banquets. These roles entailed creating new concepts and ideas for menus that are both pleasing to the eye and the pallet. I’m passionate about eating with your eyes as well as your taste buds. The theatrics of how food is presented creates an immersive experience – one that I would love to share with you’.
